Additional charges
We keep our pricing simple. The rates below only apply if something goes wrong with your booking like late cancellations, no-shows, or damage. Most trips you'll never see these
No show (30 mins)
$20 applied when a user fails to collect the vehicle within 30 minutes of the booking start time, resulting in the vehicle being idle.
Cleaning (dirty not soiled)
$150 fee applies when a driver returns the vehicle in a condition that requires additional cleaning due to it being dirty but not soiled.
Soiled vehicle
$250 fee applies when a driver returns the vehicle in a soiled condition that requires deeper cleaning. This could be outside or inside of the vehicle such as soil, smoke, mud, vomit or blood.
Admin (tolls and fines)
$30 processing fee for any toll road, speeding fine or parking infringement charges paid on behalf of the user. Charges are automatically paid by Mevo and on-charged to the drivers directly.
airport Pickup and dropoff
$20 fee will be charged for airport dropoff and pickup, applied automatically.
transfer & Relocation
$250 minimum fee is payable for any relocation of a vehicle back to its designated parking area. This does not include additional infringement charges such as impound cost for parking at the tow away area.
towing & callouts
$250 minimum fee is payable depending on the distance and time of day for the tow and callout.
insurance excess
$3600 insurance excess applies. All drivers must be 19 years and over and possess a full New Zealand drivers license.
